The second episode of Burn Notices begins with Michael discovering that his mother’s house has been bugged. By the time he finds where the team was set up they have left and destroyed all of their equipment. Madeline agrees to tell him information about the incident if he will agree to help her neighbor Laura who has been scammed out of all of her money.

Fiona and Sam help Michael to outwit the con artist named Quentin who had scammed Laura and he quickly returns the money. Madeline’s reward for Michael’s services is to tell him the important information that gets him a little bit closer to finding out why he was burned. This episode includes the same action and suspense as the original pilot episode, but perhaps with a little less mystery at the ending.

The first season of Burn Notice included many shows about helping people in need. It showed what the name and meaning behind the series was and what being “burned” was. This action packed series started out with the pilot episode that included the meaning behind the name of the show. A burn notice is something a spy receives when he has been relieved of his duties as a spy. For a spy being “burned” is like being fired. Once a spy has been “burned” he is blacklisted from all government agencies and their resources are taken away.

When the lead star Michael Westen gets burned he finds himself without money, a job, or anywhere to go. He winds up in a Miami hotel with only 2 friends and back near the family he went to Nigeria to get away from. Both of his friends are government officials and he employs their help to start an investigation to find the reason behind his Burn Notice. Fiona is an ex IRA operative as well as an ex girlfriends and Sam is a washed out ex military intelligence officer who the FBI has keeping an eye of Michael.

To earn a little cash and keep himself busy Michael begins doing some investigative work and helps a man named Javier prove he is innocent in his bosses attempt to frame him for burglary to collect insurance money. Michael confronts Javier’s boss Pyne and before long has evidence needed to put him behind bars, however

Michael uses the evidence to get Pyne to agree to clear Javier’s name and give financial support to Javier and his son. Meanwhile Michael sends a fake bomb to his government handler Dan Siebels and finally finds out that Dan thinks Michael has been framed. He returns home to find his door open and the floor covered with photos tracking his every move with a message saying Welcome to Miami. Michael realizes that its not he FBI, but has no idea who it could be.

Jeffery Donavan has just finished filming “The changeling”another film directed by Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood and written by Joseph Michael Straczynski. The Movie is about a mother who’s prayers are answered when her kidnapped son returns home. But it does not take long for her to realise that this may not actually be her son. The film also stars Angelina Jolie and Jonh Malcovich. Donovan said that he “had a lot of fun” working with his co stars., in Eastwood period film.

After filiming Jeffery then headed straight for the picket line to lend support to the writers, before heading home to work on hs house.

Ever since I began watching Burn Notice, I cant help but notice how cool  Micheal Western looks in his very elegant – but user friendly – menswear.

Costumer designer Danny Santiago has put Michael played by Jeffery Donovan into a variety of light weight and light colored suits, which are perfect for the sometimes scorching conditions of Miami. If you notice Micheal often wears tan colors which are a great choice for those summer months. Micheal Western Slender frame allows him to abandon the usual 3 button jackets in favor for the 2 button variety. I am no expert on fasion but enjoyed reading this article.
